Under-eye light filler aims to soften the hollow and shadowing beneath the eyes, giving a tired gaze a rested, brighter expression — a procedure applied to one of the most delicate areas of the face.
What Is Under-Eye Filler?
The hollow (trough) that forms under the eyes and the resulting shadow can create a tired, worn look even when we are well rested. Under-eye light filler is based on softening this transition with an appropriate amount of hyaluronic acid so the area looks brighter. Because the area is very delicate, it is especially important that the procedure is performed by an experienced physician with the right product and technique.
Who Is It Suitable For?
- Those with an under-eye hollow and associated dark shadow
- Those bothered by a tired gaze even when rested
- Those wanting softness and brightness in the under-eye transition
- Those seeking a delicate, non-surgical under-eye solution
How Is It Performed?
Your under-eye area, skin thickness and the nature of the hollow are carefully assessed; as not everyone is suitable for under-eye filler, suitability is determined first. Numbing cream is applied for comfort.
Using a fine cannula, a hyaluronic acid with flow properties suited to the area is placed in very small, controlled amounts. The procedure is short. In this area, 'less' is always safer and more natural.
Results & Recovery
Mild swelling or small bruising may occur in the first days; this is expected and temporary. The result settles within a few days. As the area is delicate, following your physician's advice is important.
